BENTONVILLE -- Artists and crafters will be on the Bentonville square Thursday during the day selling items at the latest Main Street Bentonville Brown Bag Lunch Series.

"We're testing the waters," said Brenda Compton of Main Street.

About 15 people are expected to set up booths with items ranging from jewelry, Christmas decorations and food to handmade notecards. The mini craft fair runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking is available around the square at Central Avenue and Main Street.

Michelle Reeves, the marketing coordinator of Compton Gardens, is excited to sell her wares on the square. She sells her jewelry and photographs online and doesn't get the one-on-one conversations she enjoys with customers.

"I think anything where people come to the square as opposed to going to the mall is exciting," Reeves said.

Her photo notecards will sell for $3.50 and jewelry ranges from $3 to $30, she said.

Station Cafe and Hot Dog Alley will have lunch available for the brown bag lunch series.
