ROGERS -- A Rogers couple arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges photographed themselves engaged in various sex acts with a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, according to an affidavit filed with the Benton County Prosecutor's Office.

Shawna Canoy, 32, and Joe Billy Canoy, 41, were taken into custody at their home at 3210 W. Beech St. after a search warrant was served, said Cpl. Kelley Cradduck.

The affidavit said Joe Billy Canoy and Shawna Canoy went to dinner with a man he supervised at a pest control company and the man's wife. The Canoys invited the couple to their house where the man said Joe Billy Canoy offered him marijuana and showed him pictures of children having sex with adults.

The man later called police to report what he saw.

Police seized the couple's computer and several computer disks and found more than 700 images of suspected child pornography, the affidavit said.

Two of the computer disks showed they were created in May 2004.

Investigators identified the boy and girl seen in the photos and a 19-year-old woman seen in some of the photographs.

The 13-year-old girl said in an interview with investigators that the Canoys allowed her to drink tequila at their house. She also said she had taken photographs of the couple having sex and that she felt pressured to take the photos, the affidavit said.

The girl said she hadn't taken part in any of the sexual activity or been touched in any way that made her feel uncomfortable, the affidavit said.

However, she was positively identified in photographs depicting sexual acts between her and the Canoys, the affidavit said.

Joe Billy Canoy and Shawna Canoy face charges of engaging children in sexually explicit conduct for use in visual or print medium, pandering or possessing visual or print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, computer exploitation of a child and second-degree sexual assault, all felonies.

They were released Friday on $75,000 bond each.
