Citizens Academy Begins Thursday

The annual academy of the Benton County Triad/SALT Council will begin Thursday at Prairie Creek Community Center.
Sessions are scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. every Thursday through April 6.
Programs will include home security, identity theft, Internet fraud, meth awareness and disaster preparedness, according to a news release.
Speakers are to include Benton County Sheriff Keith Ferguson, U.S. Attorney Bob Balfe, Sharon Ledbetter of the Red Cross, Capt. Ken Farmer of the Bella Vista Sheriff's Office, Jerry Snow of Wal-Mart Loss Prevention, Deputy Doug Gay of the Sheriff's Office and Rog Hay of Benton County Triad.
Individuals can attend one or all sessions.
