FAYETTEVILLE — A second motorcycle and music festival is planned for late September in Fayetteville, organizers said Friday.
Ride ‘N’ Boogie will take place at Drake Field on Sept. 29 and 30, the same weekend as the Bikes, Blues & BBQ festival.
The event, headed by Shane Crawford of The Ride Magazine and Donnie Frizzell of Frizzell Management and Promotion, will feature a bike show, recreational vehicle camping and a concert lineup headlined by country musicians Big & Rich.
The event will complement Bikes, Blues & BBQ by offering another venue, Crawford said.
“We’re trying to put this together to add to the atmosphere,” he said.
Ride ‘N’ Boogie is not affiliated with Bikes, Blues & BBQ in any way, said both Crawford and Nelson Driver, coordinator for Bikes, Blues & BBQ.
Events will open at 8 a.m. each day, with concerts beginning at 5 p.m.
Admission to the Ride ‘N’ Boogie is $5, while concert tickets to the Camp High Hog stage are $15 for Friday night and $35 for Saturday night, Frizzell said. They go on sale Aug. 11 at Hastings in Fayetteville, Sigler Music in Fayetteville, Fort Smith and Little Rock, and at www.camphighhog.com.
