SPRINGDALE — Police arrested Aaron Arzola-Almeida, 18, Friday in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a young girl Sunday.
Debbie Sarimle, 4, was hit by an unidentified driver in front of her house at 1566A Tolleson Loop on Sunday afternoon. The girl was laying face down on a skateboard that went into the street and was hit by a black, mid- to late-1990s Honda Accord.
According to witnesses, Arzola-Almeida was westbound on Tolleson Loop, in a “low rider” style car with chrome wheels, when he struck the girl. He did not attempt to stop after hitting the girl, witnesses told police.
