Enriquez Martinez-Araujo pleaded guilty in Springdale District Court to a variety of charges stemming from an incident involving his five pit bull dogs.
Araujo was fined $500 for five counts of harboring a vicious animal and $54 victim restitution for veterinarian fees.
Araujo's dogs attacked another dog and threatened a woman before being chased out of the yard by the woman's husband, who was wielding a sword.
Additionally, Araujo was fined $125 for five counts of no rabies tags, $100 for five counts of no license tags and $100 for five counts of allowing an animal to run at large.
He was also assessed $100 in court costs.
Together, the fines and court costs amounted to $979.
City officials put down two of the five pit bulls and will put down another two dogs. Only one dog out of the five remains in Araujo's ownership.
Araujo agreed with the city's decision to euthanize the dogs, according to a spokesperson for the Springdale city attorney's office.
