White Hat Bank Robber Strikes Again

FAYETTEVILLE - A man walked into an Arvest bank early Wednesday morning, handed a teller a note demanding cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Fayetteville police said.
Police responded to a 7:23 a.m. call that the bank at 1947 N. College in Fayetteville was being robbed.
It is the third robbery of a Fayetteville bank this month.
The robber is described as a white man, with facial hair, chubby face, white shirt, black puffy jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and a white hat. Police suspect the robber ran west from the bank and left the area. No customers were inside the bank at the time of the robbery.
There appears to be some similarities between this robbery and the robbery of another Arvest bank June 15, according to Sgt. Shannon Gabbard, public information officer for the Fayetteville Police Department. The June 15 robber, wearing a white hat, also handed a note to the teller demanding money
"The description we have so far is very similar and the manner is very similar, so we have to consider it very strongly. We will know more when we look the video and conducted interviews with the tellers, Gabbard said.
The Priority Bank in Fayetteville, robbed June 6, was the first Fayetteville bank robbed this month. In the June 6 robbery a man entered the bank brandishing a handgun and instructed employees to get down to the floor before verbally demanding money. He fled the bank in in a sport utility vehicle and is still at large.
