A man was injured Monday in a one-vehicle accident on Arkansas 59 near Siloam Springs.

Jack Reed, driving a 1996 GMC truck, was traveling north on Arkansas 59 a few miles south of Siloam Springs when he failed to negotiate a left turn and ran off the roadway, according to Arkansas State Trooper Wilson Short's report.

Reed overcorrected, crossed back across the roadway to the left, ran through a fence and overturned coming to rest on the vehicle's top.

Reed was taken to Washington County Regional Medical Center, in what the Arkansas State Police report said was "serious condition," following the 11:22 a.m. accident.

Reed's age and address were not available Monday afternoon, nor was an update on his condition from Washington County Regional Medical Center.
