FAYETTEVILLE - The Washington County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 69 motorcycle poker run scheduled for today will benefit the Shop With A Cop program.

Sign-in begins at 8 a.m. at 815 S. School Ave., the El Camino Real Restaurant in Fayetteville.

The first bike is scheduled to leave at 10 a.m. and the last bike is expected in by 4:30 p.m.

The registration fee on the day of the event is $25; this includes a meal coupon and T-shirt.

The Shop with A Cop program allows underprivileged children to buy Christmas presents for family members and themselves. The fraternal order gives each child in the program approximately $100 to spend on holiday shopping. Last year, the fraternal order helped about 100 children, according to a news release.
