PAR 5: FIVE QUESTIONS WITH BRITTANY
THE MORNING NEWS: You won two tournaments last year and you were also part of the victorious U.S. Solheim Cup team. What's been the best moment of your career thus far?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: My first victory was pretty special. I had my dad (Tom) as my caddy, so it was pretty emotional. I didn't expect to win that soon. I beat players like Juli Inkster, Michelle Wie and Lorena Ochoa - it was just a really cool experience.
TMN: Besides golf, what's your favorite sport?
BL: I absolutely love baseball. There's no doubt about it. I love the Tampa Bay Rays. A couple nights ago when the Rays were playing Boston, I stayed up until 10:30 watching the game.
TMN: What's something a lot of people don't know about you?
BL: I'm very involved with the First Tee program. I think it's a really great organization. It's fun to give back, I try to donate quite of bit of money. I'm only good with kids under 5 years old. I'm a terrible coach.
TMN: You've consistently had one of the longest driving distances (270.6) on tour. What's that like?
BL: It's very cool, something I really hang my hat on. My rookie year, I had a crappy year, but I led that stat, so I was very proud of that. I think I'm actually leading right now. It's fun for fans to come and watch us bomb it out into the fairway.
TMN: You enjoy playing the poker game Texas Hold'Em. Are you very good?
BL: I love to play, but I don't get to do it very often. I like to think I'm pretty good and that I have a good poker face, but who knows.
