Police Make Arrests In Connection With Purloined Pizza

    Elm Springs Police arrested two men and a woman Monday in connection with the robbery of a pizza delivery person.

    Jennifer Dunk, 18, and Christopher Parker, 25, both of Springdale, along with a 17-year-old boy, were taken into custody at 2116-B Patti Ave. in Springdale, according to the Elm Springs Police Department.

    The robbery occurred July 22 at about 11 p.m. at 1351 Ross Ave. in Elm Springs, according to Elm Springs Police Chief Jason Hiatt.

    One of the three people arrested placed an order to a Springdale pizza business, requesting the pizza be delivered to the Ross Avenue address, according to police.

    When the delivery man arrived, he was lured close to the house by Dunk. As he approached the house Parker and the juvenile emerged from the darkness and ordered him to the ground, police said.

    The three made off with pizzas, a cell phone, drinks and a small amount of cash, according to the police report.

    Curt Eichel, lead investigator in the case, traced the trio to the Patti Avenue apartment address, according to Hiatt.

    Dunk and Parker remained in the Washington County Detention Center Tuesday in lieu of a $25,000 bond each. The 17-year-old was still in the custody of juvenile authorities Tuesday afternoon.

    " a little information for you all... It was a Pizza Hut delivery guy. No weapons were involved. The Pizza Hut Delivery guy was not touched by any of the "trio" as they call it. All 3 are being charged for Robbery & the 17 year old is being tried as an adult! Don't even get me started on that one. Did you people know that this is the 2nd juvenile to be tried as an adult this year for this kind of crime? The other child is black & had just turned 17 3 days before he did what he did. NOW, DON'T GET ME WRONG...RIGHT IS RIGHT & WRONG IS WRONG & THEY'RE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER. But, there's several things to consider in this case. What is a 17 year old doing with a 25 yr old (Parker) & a 18 almost 19 female? Parker & Dunk are neighbors if you haven't connected the addresses. YES, the Pizza, DP's, & less than $150 in cash they got is going to cost them several years. No meth that night in the 17 year olds system. I don't know about the others. I feel sorry for Dunk's dad as well because he doesn't have a clue. Washington Co. website lists parker as a white male the last time I looked. The juvenile is definately white & a redneck that loves thoseHOGS! "
