ROGERS - Marge Wolf, president of Main Street Rogers for eight years, has resigned the position effective Sept. 7.
She will become executive director of the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.
The Main Street Rogers Board of Directors accepted Wolf's resignation Monday, according to a press release.
"Main Street Rogers has been a big part of my life for close to eight years." Wolf said. "I will miss it, but my heart has always been with non-profit agencies since I was with United Way and I am excited to get back into that type of work".
"Through Marge's outstanding leadership, Main Street Rogers has been recognized as a premier Main Street organization and has been awarded numerous state and national awards," said board chairman Nathan Gairhan. "We have been very fortunate to have someone with Marge's background and experience. I am confident that Marge will be successful in her new venture, and I wish her the best."
A search committee has been formed to select Wolf's successor. Resumes are being accepted at resume@mainstreetrogers.com or can be mailed to MSR Search Committee, 119 S. Second, Rogers, 72756.
