Mobility Authority To Hold First Meeting Monday

SPRINGDALE -- The Northwest Arkansas Regional Mobility Authority is scheduled to hold its first meeting at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission office in Springdale. The authority is an association of city and county representatives from Benton and Washington counties. Under state law, the authority could ask cities and counties to place road projects, including taxes to pay for them, on the ballot for voter approval.
