Greenland SOS Plans Yard Sale

A yard sale is planned Saturday to raise money for the Greenland School District.
The sale will start at 8 a.m. in the 3800 block of West Wedington Drive. The sale site is a large vacant lot across from Airways Freight.
A committee spokesman said the sale will feature clothing, furniture and other household items.
The SOS committee has organized several fundraising events this fall to help the school district get off the state's fiscal distress list.
Superintendent Roland Smith said Tuesday more than $52,000 has been raised from numerous fundraising events in the past three months.
