New Contract For LaBarge Berryville

SPRINGDALE -- LaBarge Inc. signed a $1.6 million contract with General Dynamics Land Systems to continue building cable assemblies for the M1 Abrams tank used by the U.S. Army.
Production on this latest contract began this month at the Berryville facility and is expected to continue through February 2013.
LaBarge has supported the Abrams program since the vehicle entered service in 1980, the release said.
The company is a broad-based provider of electronics. Headquartered in St. Louis, LaBarge has operations in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas.
