    • A Veterans Affairs hospital chaplain with more than 20 years of experience is the new Director of Chaplain Services for Tyson Foods. Richard "Rick" McKinnie has left his position as Supervisory Chaplain of the VA Eastern Kansas Healthcare System to join Tyson Foods. In his new job he will oversee more than 120 part-time chaplains who serve about 250 Tyson locations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. He replaces retiring Chaplain Alan Tyson, who started the Tyson Foods chaplaincy program eight years ago at the direction of company Chairman John Tyson. Chaplain Services provides compassionate pastoral care and support to Tyson team members and their families, regardless of their religious affiliation or beliefs. McKinnie had served at the VA Medical Centers in Topeka and Leavenworth since 1993 and also previously worked as a chaplain at the VA Medical Centers in Memphis and Kansas City. He is a board certified clinical chaplain with the National Association of VA Chaplains. McKinnie is a Vietnam combat veteran and, until his retirement in 1996, served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Training for the 125th U.S. Army Reserve Command in Nashville, Tennessee.

    • Lane Dickerson Adams has been promoted to director of account services for Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods' Northwest Arkansas operations in Springdale. Matt Lockwood has joined the agency as creative director. Adams has more than nine years of experience leading and implementing consumer package goods initiatives for clients such as Tyson Foods, Inc., Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Rubbermaid, Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. Lockwood has created work that includes consumer Web sites, national television ads and business-to-business collateral for clients ranging from oil companies to wire shelving manufacturers, with particular expertise in the food and beverage industry. He graduated with a degree in advertising from the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri.

    • America's Car-Mart has appointed Rick Combs to serve as Director of Information Technology. Combs, 40, most recently served as President of Enformix Technology Services. Previously, he spent 16 years with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. where he held management positions within Store Operations, Store Planning, and their Information Systems Division. A native of Northwest Arkansas, Rick brings more than 17 years of experience in leveraging technology to assist in multi-facility operations. He takes over the position from Rob Hey, who served as Director of Information Technology since 2005. Hey was promoted to Vice President of Staffing and Development in August. America's Car-Mart operates 91 automotive dealerships in eight states and is the largest publicly held automotive retailer in the United States focused exclusively on the "buy-here, pay-here" segment of the used car market.

    • Pulaski Bank and Trust Company has named Chris Moffett Vice President and Branch Manager for the Bentonville branch. Moffett joins Pulaski Bank with more than 10 years of banking experience. He previously was Community Banker and Branch Manager for Arvest Bank in Centerton, where he also managed consumer loans. A native of Northwest Arkansas, Moffett is a member of the Centerton Kiwanis Club, served as a volunteer at numerous schools in the Centerton area, and is active with the "Sharing and Caring" program in Bentonville.
