Mason's Leaving Village on the Creeks in Rogers
Boutique to reopen in spring at Pinnacle Hills Promenade

SPRINGDALE -- Village on the Creeks, the first shopping center and office park in Rogers west of Interstate 540, is losing a retail tenant.
Mason Hiba is moving his eponymous Mason's clothing boutique out of the Village and into Pinnacle Hills Promenade, an open-air mall just east of I-540 and the Village.
The lease at Village on the Creeks expired and C.R. Lehman Properties, owner of the Village, raised the rent for the Mason's space by 1.5 times previous rates, Hiba said.
He has not decided on which space at Pinnacle Hills Promenade he will take, but expects to move in March or April.
Other Mason's boutiques still will sell women's designer jeans, dresses, shirts and shoes at its other locations, including on Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville and at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville.
Hiba was at the New York City garment markets on Tuesday procuring items to stock the stores.
Though Mason's is leaving Village on the Creeks, it still is home to other retailers, including SoHo Clothiers, and an office park with many vendors to Bentonville-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Village on the Creeks has 64 acres, three small lakes, fountains, courtyards and suites or stand-alone office buildings, according to www.crlehmanproperties.com.
Owner Carmen Lehman did not return a telephone message left during business hours Thursday.
