Zac Lehr

Zac Lehr

Zac Lehr is the assistant photo editor and has been with The Morning News for more than seven years, beginning as a freelancer in August of 1999. Graduating from Little Rock Central High School in 1994 Zac moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas. His interest in photojournalism grew after he enrolled at the University of Arkansas and in 1995 he was hired as the darkroom technician for the school's student newspaper The Arkansas Traveler. Zac would later become the photo editor for The Arkansas Traveler and freelance for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He joined The Morning News as a fulltime staff photographer in May of 2000. He currently lives in Fayetteville.

J.T. Wampler

J.T. Wampler

J.T. Wampler has been a photojournalist at The Morning News since June 2000. He is from Kingston, Arkansas, a hamlet near the Buffalo River in the Ozarks. Wampler got his start in 1986 photographing high school football games for the Northwest Arkansas Times, which was an afternoon black and white newspaper. He has received many awards from organizations such as the Associated Press Managing Editors Association, The National Press Photographers Association, The Arkansas Press Association and the Society of Professional Journalists. He currently lives in Hogeye with his wife Michelle, daughter Lulamae and five dogs and a cat.

>Justin Wedgeworth

Justin Wedgeworth

Justin Wedgeworth is a staff photographer with The Morning News and spends most of his time photographing people and events throughout Benton County. Justin began his journalism career at age 16 as a full-time sports reporter with the Daily News in Mountain Home, Ark., and also worked for the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record and the Baxter Bulletin before coming to The Morning News in September of 2000. Justin lives in Centerton with his two pit bulls, Lexus and Rowdy.

Josh Dooley

Josh Dooley has been a photojournalist for The Morning News since August of 2007. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dooley has won several awards for writing and photography at newspapers in Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. He currently lives in Bella Vista with his wife Hilary, their 115-pound Chocolate Lab Muddy and a cat rescued from a crack house bust named Catrina.

Marc F. Henning

Marc F. Henning has been a staff photographer for The Morning News since October 2002. He is a 1996 graduate of The Colorado Institute of Art. His interest in photography began as a child when his grandmother bought him his first camera, a Kodak Disc camera. Before taking a position at The Morning News he was a staff photographer at The Daily Times in Farmington, N.M., for six years. Marc lives in Bella Vista with his wife, Alona, his daughter, Sahar, and 6-year-old German Shepherd, Juno.

Sarah Berrett

Sarah Berrett has been a staff photographer with The Morning News since August 2007. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor Degree in Photojournalism in 2004. Previously she worked for The Gadsden Times, as well as freelancing for Car & Driver Magazine and the Champ Car World Series, among others. Her work has appeared in dozens of publications across the U.S. She currently lives in Rogers.
